Chatty Heifer Farm
We had an amazing stay at this HipCamp. We stayed at Site #3, which we believe is the best of the three sites. Nestled beside a creek with several miniature waterfalls, the site offered a peaceful atmosphere throughout our stay.
Cell service was spotty on both AT&T iPhone and Android devices, averaging about one bar. There is some noise from a nearby road, but traffic was light, and the sound of the creek helped mask most passing vehicles. That evening we listened to owls, frogs, and coyotes while relaxing by the campfire.
We also felt well protected by the farm’s two livestock guardian dogs, who quietly patrolled the property throughout the night. The site is not hammock friendly, so we recommend bringing a tent or a hammock stand instead. It was a beautiful and relaxing campsite that we would gladly visit again.
