HipCamp 'Camp Nashville Highland Rim', Goodlettsville, TN
The driveway leading to the campsite is steep, rocky, and narrow in places, with a sharp drop-off on the right side if your vehicle drifts off the road. My AWD Kia Sportage handled the climb without any issues.
We’ve stayed at both the upper and lower campsites. The lower site offers the most privacy and has plenty of trees that are perfect for hammocks. The upper site is more open, so hammock campers will likely want to bring a stand. Both sites have large, level areas that work well for tents.
We did notice some traffic noise during our visits, although that may be more noticeable in the fall and winter when the trees have lost their leaves. We could also hear faint highway noise at times, likely for the same reason.
